"There are pancake and egg houses all over the Myrtle beach area. I’ve walked into some really bad ones so I’m always scared to try them out. Also, how many different ways can you really cook eggs and waffles? I’m super impressed with The Golden Egg. Super friendly staff, our waitress Lindsay was super sweet, a very clean establishment, and HUGE portions. They showed me that eggs could be made different with an interesting blend of ingredients and flavor. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone in the area!"

The breakfast was fantastic and the service was excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant to all those in the Surfside Beach/Myrtle Beach area. We will definitely be returning!

The waffles and cookies at this restaurant are massive. One waffle could easily feed two people. The ice cream servings are generous and come with a large cookie. The restaurant is conveniently located and has clean bathrooms with private stalls. I would highly recommend this place, 10/10.

Despite the positive reviews and high ranking, I was disappointed with my experience. I ordered the eggs benedict, which had a strange plastic aftertaste, and the crispy hash browns tasted off. The overall meal was underwhelming. The service, however, was quick and friendly. I don't think I will be returning to this restaurant.
