"Hole in a wall Vietnamese noodle restaurant. ? I realized I have been here before. The food and service are good. It is not the place where you want to sit for long. It is pretty much, you sit, order, get your food, finish it, pay, and leave. It is also located in not a nice neighborhood. I am not sure if it is safe to walk around or not. In the morning it seems fine but you need to be aware of your surroundings. Parking could be a challenge. I like the wonton combination egg noodle. The taste is almost the same as other Vietnamese/Chinese noodle restaurant."

Looks like a very simple dish but extremely flavorful. Ordered the wonton noodles with a braided duck leg. Duck was very moist. Definitely would come again!

Even though I ordered for takeout, the soup was piping hot and packaged very securely.I got the seafood soup with wide rice noodles. It was such a big bowl of noodles I didn't have a bowl at home big enough! Very worth the price esp for SF.Broth could be more flavorful but a bit of fish sauce did the trick. I wish it had more seafood as well, maybe some crab. Overall 4/5 because of the portions and it satisfied my craving, but I've had better in SJ.

#taste 4/5 #portion size 5/5 #service 4/5 #value 4/5 #recommendation(s) house special wonton egg noodle soup #tip you can ask for the soup on the side if you like your noodles more dry #context this was walking distance from our hotel so we decided to check it out. #like the food tasted good and the portion size was good as well. They provide chili oil and sliced peppers if you want to spice things up. Also, the shrimps were all de shelled which was amazing to me. #dislike I couldn't tell if some of the chicken pieces I had were raw. I just put those aside.
