"Scharbeutz is a lovely seaside town frequented almost exclusively by German tourists. The meal I had was from their luncheon specials menu and was so delicious! I asked for potatoes to be substituted for vegetables, and the grilled chicken breast, salad and mixed vegetables were...mouth watering! I sat outside and was made to feel very welcome alone at my table for four, and service was very attentive without being invasive. I had a wonderful and very reasonably priced glass of wine as well from an extensive wine menu. The inside of the restaurant was gorgeous, too. Very highly recommended!!!"

I got the fresh caught special of the day, delicious. It came with two scallops, perfectly seasoned and beautifully browned and a large shrimp. My son had tender pork strips in a brown sauce. It was a lovely meal for both of us andwe will return.

we stumbled across this restaurant while on a trip out from our base in Kappelan and ended up having the best meal of the holiday. The owner 's son was extremely helpful, providing a translated menu for us Brits and rather than up sell, actually told...us that one of the chosen started was enough for two! The fish soup was to die for and the main courses excellent. Service was very good, attentive and not pushy. Cannot fault this restaurant

We went here for lunch during the off-season and were impressed with the fine quality of the local seafood dishes. The menu is quite extensive and offers a broad range of things, also in the meat department, but seafood lovers will gravitate to the freshly...caught local fish that is expertly prepared. The cosy atmosphere of the restaurant is complemented by the friendly service. In the summer a well-appointed large outdoor patio adds to the dining experience. Prices are reasonable for the very high quality of food on offer.

"After non-conformity and 2h waiting time in neighboring Klingberg/Scharbeutz To the moor pond it was still necessary to quickly obtain something edible. The Italian on the Haffkruger beach promenade was also through its delivery service up to approx. 22:00 we met in the well-visited local around 21:20. 4 people with dog no problem! Rasch was covered in a table and after our briefing of the late arrival 'Hunger!' flott with drinks and food intake started. Beverages after 4min and 2x2 large Bruschetta à 4.50€ for the first coat were on the table after almost 8min; hurra! Pils 0,3l 2,60€, house wine Pinot Grigio 0,25l 4,60€, water SP 0,25l 2,20€, digestifs 2,60 3,20€ and softs at 2,40€. Family with predominantly young team friendly and attentive. The menu extensively classic with at least for the food tourist price level of a sea bath. After our arrival, other guests arrived; the kitchen brigade immediately rushed into the kitchen after our arrival from the cottage in the winter garden. Launig lively ambience; uncomplicated and nicely furnished rustically harmonious. After a good 20min we received our food: Pizza Salame 7,90€ with 5 extra pads 11,40€ and an inferno at 11,50€ were well matched with thin-crossed dough, freshly fried and juicy tasty decent. Lachslasagne with spinach 12,90€ as a daily recommendation solid and plentiful. The lamb fillet from the grill 22,90€ 4 large, delicate pieces though somewhat by but super freshly pleasant; crisp, coloured side-lay salad marinated a little natural and the potato supplement unobtrusively less worth mentioning. Good mood with finally full belly very friendly and solid. Go! You're welcome."
