"This place offers many traditional dishes and some american blended dishes. You will find that the food here is not like the run of the mill chinese restaurants that are poppoin up everywhere. Those places serve the same thing as everywhere else. The food is pretty decent, however, I have noticed that sometimes the qulity goes down depending on who is in the back. But, nevertheless, it is usually pretty decent. BBQ fried rice is good. BBQ pork egg foo young is good and flavorful. For some, it is an acquired taste. Better than all of the other places in the Kalamazoo. Wonton soups is good, however, sometimes they use the thicker wontons vs the thinner ones. Shrimp with lobster sauce is good,...

I had the Kung Pao tofu, which was above average in flavor. It's a decent option if you're craving Chinese food, but not worth a special trip. The portion sizes were good for the price. However, the service wasn't great; the woman who seated me seemed a bit brusque. Overall, it could use some improvement.

This restaurant offers classic American Chinese cuisine and features a dedicated vegan menu. Most dishes simply substitute roasted tofu for meat, and steamed tofu is available upon request. The décor is conventional for American Chinese restaurants. The food was decent, but not very flavorful. While I appreciate their efforts to cater to the vegan community, I personally wouldn’t choose this restaurant as my top pick.

Although you need to ask for the vegan menu, it's definitely worth the small effort. They offer a variety of options, including appetizers and over ten main vegan dishes. I highly recommend the sizzling rice soup (vegan version), garlic bean curd (which features rich garlic sauce and deep-fried, large tofu bites served with fresh vegetables), and ching chow chow mai fung (curry-based rice noodles with veggies). The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very affordable.
