Ate here on Thursday, May The food was okay...nothing too exciting which would make me want to return sooner rather than later. The main dish portions were SMALL in comparison to the BIG prices. Recommend you save yourself the headache of finding this...place (had to park in the forest and walk to the restaurant) and try one of the other great places in the area.

Idyll is tucked on the outskirts of the east side of Kaiserslautern, fairly close to the Irish House pub. The restaurant is on the first floor of a nice hotel and the ambiance is of a nice German restaurant, but not too formal. I've been...to Idyll several times and each time is something new and delicious on the menu. My favorite is their venison (Hirsch), it seems to always be cooked perfectly.
