"Asked for just butter, cheese, and chives on my baked potato and instead got a baked potato covered in melted cheese and that's it. Wife asked them to put the lemon pepper seasoning on the side for our daughter's chicken so we could see if she liked it first. Instead they put it directly on the chicken and covered it. Daughter didn't like the seasoning, so her meal was out. Asked for half pound of pulled chicken. Didn't get the full half pound or so it looks like. Pulled chicken was not very good. I ate a couple bites and decided I didn't want anymore. Going to give the extra chicken I got to my cats, because I won't eat it. On a positive note their garlic bread is amazing. Mac and cheese was good tier, and sweet tea was okay. Pulled pork wasn't bad, but Shane's is better. It cost us over 100$ and it definitely was not worth it. Wouldn't recommend."

"My husband called in an order for me to pickup on my way home. I got there about 30mim after he ordered and was informed they just put our ticket in. She went ahead and totaled up my order and told me it would be $XX plus a $1,000 tip. I laughed, and then she proceeded to go on for a few minutes about how she was serious and needed $1,000. At this point I give her cash in the exact amount of the order. When my fo$1od is finally done she bags it up and goes to hand it to me, but then pulls it back and says did you pay for this ...my reply was you know I did and then she hands it to me again, pulling it back, and says but you didn 't give me my $1,000 tip. I told her I didn 't have time to play, I need to get home. She then gave me the food and thankfully I checked it, because the burger had no bacon and the fried chicken dinner was just chicken...no sides or cornbread. I tell her what I need and she says she will ask them to make it. Then they send a new plate with the sides, but no bacon or cornbread. She gets the cornbread but then tells me they 're out of bacon. I paid $1.10 for bacon and I asked for my money back. She then says well the cheese and bacon are the same price and I forgot to charge you for the cheese. At this point I roll my eyes and got to leave and she proceeds to GET BETWEEN ME AND THE DOOR and says no, don 't leave, let me fix it. I told her to get out of my way, I had already spent enough time in there. So then I get home and we start eating, and my husband gets a few bites into his chicken and it was pouring blood. All three pieces (thighs) were not cooked all of the way through. So he had to throw his away and go out to get something to eat somewhere else. If you care about your health and sanity, pick somewhere else to eat!!"

"McAlister has redeemed himself. My first and only experience was the new McAlister in Acworth. I just visited this McAlister location and I have nothing but positive moods. I was greeted by a young lady as soon as I came in with a welcome. First look: floor is immaculately clean and the tables...big plus, as it is the first thing I notice to go to a restaurant and the most important factor I will not overlook. I'm going to the bar and I'm greeted by a young woman named Zakia. She was very helpful, well maintained and dressed. Zakia was very patient. I had explained that I had only been to another place at McAlister and she even had a few suggestions. She was just very pleasant, what was refreshed. You know how much I love good customer service, so if I get it, I've been thinking about who ever gives the excellence of customer service. She went beyond and beyond to help and I am grateful and grateful. I ordered the roast beef and beef sandwich with potato salad and a large blackberry limonade. Everything was great. The sandwich was perfected and exploded with taste. Right with the lemonade it was another kind of refreshment. Long story short, if you have a clean restaurant, with good food and excellent customer service, you need more that a 5-star review in my book. A great thank you to Zakia and Management. Your location in Hiram is a winner! Acworth should note how to lead with a great example of what a McAlister should be."

"This place is absolutely amazing! It's not a big place and that's the better part. The food is so good and so fresh! That's probably the best sushi I ever had to be honest. I and my husband got the sushi for two and it came in this boat and I was just amazed. The lady waiting for us I guess is the owner she is just the sweetest thing ever and makes you feel completely at home while you enjoy your meal. We will definitely be back this is our sushi place from now on."

"I mostly get my food to go because I live 5 minutes away. I have eaten here so many times since moving to the area because the food is excellent. The portions are generous and you can usually make a meal into two servings. My all time favorite meal is the combination fried rice with chicken and shrimp. It has lots of chicken and large shrimp and the carryout container is filled with rice. I also love their vegetable soup. It's like comfort food on a cold day! The container is filled with clear broth and fresh vegetables like broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, cabbage, celery and onions. This is my go-to meal always but I've tried other menu items as well like Thai Spring Rolls, Spicy Wontons, Crab Rangoon, and Fried Coconut Shrimp. All items also very good! Their food is spicy so keep that in mind when ordering your level of heat/spice."
