"ICHI Sushi is fabulous!!! So glad we stumbled upon this little gem. By far, the best sushi experience we 've had in the city. Not only is the food amazing, the service is second to none. We sat at the bar and had piece after piece of heaven delivered to us by the amazing sushi chef. Everything is extremely fresh with the cleanest, brightest flavors. This is a no extra soy, no extra wasabi sort of sushi experience. Each piece is dressed perfectly. We also enjoyed a great Italian sauv blanc and a glass of local sake. Space is tiny and very warm and inviting. We can 't wait to go back."

The omakase menu with sake pairings is the BEST sushi experience I have ever had. This was a belated 40th birthday gift to me from my friend, and she and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite and every sip. The chef and servers were all cordial, knowledgeable, and informative. The best thing I learned is that winter is sushi season, because the fish are fattier! Arigato gozaimasu!

celebrated my boyfriend's birthday last night (january 17th . met chef tim at his asian art museum talk a while back had to try his restaurant. such a nice little space. jonathan was so friendly very informative. everything he recommended was delicious! the quality of fish is sooooo amazing. we will definitely be returning to try the omakase : definitely worth it, will be telling all my friends about ichi! :
