"This place was a pleasant surprise! Very chill atmosphere. It's got that kind of a trendy, hippie, farm-fresh vibe that, when well executed, makes for a unique and tasty restaurant experience. There's indoor and outdoor seating. We were there for breakfast, but I'd imagine the night life would be fun to check out, too. There's lots of space to hang out in the outdoor seating area. There's a legit wood fired pizza oven out there as well, so I'm excited to try their pizza next time! The coffee was pretty dang good. The breakfast was great! I highly recommend the biscuit and gravy breakfast with an added side of bacon. The biscuit was fluffy. The sausage gravy was so creamy, with big chunks of sausage. My eggs were cooked over-medium, just as ordered (it's surprising how many places improperly cook over-medium eggs). The taters were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside potato cubes. And the bacon was just the right amount of crunchy. It seems like the kind of place where all the ingredients are fresh. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. All the staff seemed really friendly and accommodating. It's very laid back. The coffee mugs may not match, but the actual flatware is tasteful, and it seemed obvious that the chef put thought into plating the food in a visually appealing manner. The price isn't the cheapest, but the quality of the food (coupled with the lack of good eating choices in the area) means it's worth it. The next time I'm in Hayfork, I'm definitely going to stop in again!"
