"As expected, Julep didn't disappoint me. They were nice enough to book two stands for a reservation I booked before the time. We came a few minutes late, but we were still professionally treated, and they didn't give up our seats. I appreciate that! We were served as soon as we got in. My cocktail was good. I ordered my ordinary French 75. The ambience was beautiful and the scent in the restaurant was refreshing. The decor was nice to see. The service here is great and the staff I interacted with was professional. I enjoy the mood here and the service. Julep lives as the best bar for the James Beard Award. I’ve heard stories of a line wrapping the building and the staff having a bouncer at the door, but this was not the case when I stopped in. The place was empty except for one other couple. We sat at the bar and were greeted by a friendly barkeep who helped us navigate our first Julep experience. Our cocktails were delicious. The service was great. The environment was lovely.
