The food was delicious and freshly prepared….The music was just as if we were in the Caribbean… the establishment was tastefully decorated…. After a soccer match in NJ, I went in right before closing. The owners stayed open later than usual to accommodate my friends who were about an hour behind me. The food and beverages, as well as the service were excellent. This restaurant has my seal of approval.Food: 5/5

Yeap... we went there and LOVED the atmosphere, the courteous and ATTENTIVE chef, the ambiance, it was PERFECT. The Jungle special (Salmon with pasta) was DELICIOUS!!!!... Next trip to NY will have me eating at this location and I'm recommending it to all my friends.Food: 5/5

The rice and peas could eat by itself, everything was delicious. The owner is super pleasant and we sat for awhile and there was no rush to get us out. It's not a huge place but it's super comfortable and I found out me and the owner came from the same place, hence the name of the restaurant, that was awesome. Super chill environment, surely going back
