"Being from Louisiana, I 'm super leary about trying New Orleans and Creole/Cajun labeled restaurants. However, with a being a really chilly evening and wanting some gumbo, I decided to try it out.I 've only been to one Crawfish boil this season and, seeing that they offered a 2-lb boil I went ahead and ordered it. Also order a small cup of gumbo.I am happy that the crawfish came with one corn, one potato and two links of andouille sausage. Some places don 't offer those three items with their seafood boils. I guess I 'm more so happy it came with those three things because that 's all I really ate. The crawfish had zero taste and seasoning. Also, they were really tiny and overcooked.The gum...

I’m going to be gentle as I can …. Ok we ordered seafood boil crab Shrimp which they forgot the sausage. Crab legs under seasoned and no meat, fried green Tomatoes needs wrk and dump that sauce because it’s to zesty and doesn’t go at all. Chicken tender plate for $18 dry as the dessert with no seasoning, coleslaw was hot I would plate slaw in a ramekin away from hot food, the hush puppies were so small I thought it was fried okra. Cashier non attentive and rude. I probably won’t return to jst give my hard earn money away like this it was so disappointing.

I'm sorry. I went to this establishment with a friend on yesterday night and ordered the seafood boil, Patton hot sausage, gumbo and bread pudding. And for the first time I didn't enjoy not one. The crawfish were overly seasoned and salty..it was too over seasoned, the gumbo had no flavor and mostly oily threw the entire thing away) then got home ate the hot sausage... bread and it was dry and the bread pudding was very gummy and not of any taste threw it away) I understand it was a more mom and pop store so I just left it alone,but I would probably not come here again and waste my money.. I know every Nola person does things differently but this was unexcusable, but flavor is usually not to...

"Fabulous meal last night at AG. The 8oz filet mignon was cooked absolutely perfectly medium, and I'm very picky about that. Wonderful flavor and texture. The Moet Chandon rose champagne was perfectly crisp and dry, with a little raspberry zing. Roasted Brussels sprouts were so tasty crispy with a touch of balsamic sweetness. Raw oyster starter was wonderful, nice presentation, and the server was nice enough to pull just a half dozen for me rather than all 12. Peach cobbler w/ice cream was a nice finish, though a little heavy for me. I got the special coffee which is more suited to 2 people, but the taste was superbly rich and deep. Service is always exceptional there very attentive without being intrusive. The only thing I missed was the pre Covid jazz trio. Totally understandable."

"I had a build your own hotdog at Red's, and it was delightful! They sent out the various toppings in individual ramekins, so one could choose how much of each item to use, and I appreciate being able to self determine my ratio of chili to onions to mustard. Also, they had myriad non-alcoholic beverage options, which made meeting friends there for a meal a lot easier for someone who doesn't drink alcohol. Red's was a very relaxing, warm environment, and I'll definitely be going back.Dietary restrictions: Red's did not mind omitting ingredients from my order to accommodate dietary restrictions.Kid-friendliness: There was a changing table in a non gendered restroom, so any parent could easily access it. The lawn seating area was well suited to letting kiddos move freely without irking other tables as well."

"We had a delightful experience visiting this location with a group of seven for a birthday celebration. The service exceeded our expectations, both at the bar and our dining table. The food was not only delicious but also exceptionally fresh. The Mushroom Oyster Crimini hummus stole the show as our favorite appetizer, closely followed by the tasty Corn Ribs. Every kabob was cooked to perfection, and the basmati rice, especially the herb rice, was well-seasoned. The Sea Bass was a highlight as well. While the dessert menu is somewhat limited for those looking for cakes or pies, we understood that it might not complement the restaurant's main menu. The ambiance was good, though not outstanding. The tables were a bit closely packed together, and our round table for seven felt small. It would have been better to have two four-tops placed together for our group. Surprisingly, the restaurant wasn't busy, and there was plenty of room. It seemed like all the dining customers were placed closely together in the same area, making it appear more crowded than it actually was. Despite these minor observations, everyone in our group loves RUMI's, and we wholeheartedly recommend it. We look forward to visiting again"
