"We had dinner here on the evening of our arrival in Neustrelitz. The signs of the restaurant call it ‘Due Fratelli’ but it is listed as ‘La Fontana’ on Tripadvisor (same address), which is rather odd. Maybe the place changed owners? As the waiter spoke...Italian, I ordered a pizza margherita with a green side salad and a small beer in that language. My companion ordered a pizza Popeye (spinach and gorgonzola) and half a litre of beer. We were both brought half a litre of beer in a glass mug with a handle, mine with the mention ‘una piccolo birra’ (a small beer). When my pizza arrived, it was not a margherita. Wir waren 2 erwachsene mit 5 Kindern. Der Kellner war sehr nett und vorallem geduldig :-) jeder der mit Kindern essen geht wird wissen was wir meinen. Wir haben Vorspeisen bestellt. Es kam noch ein Gruß aus der Küche in dem Moment wusste ich das es vllt Zuviel gewesen sein könnte:-) Die Portion der Vorspeisen war auch ziemlich groß aber verdammt lecker. Unsere Hauptgänge waren hauptsächlich Pizza. Aber das eine rindersteak was an unserem Tisch kam war einfach nur perfekt. Super Qualität und bestens zubereitet... Insgesamt empfehlenswert und wir sind mit ein guten Gefühl gegangen.

Wir waren spontan dort und wollten wissen ob die NegativBew. von FB sich bestätigen. Wir haben als Vorspeise Tomatensuppe und gefüllte Champions mit Spinat und Gorgonzola bestellt und als Hauptgericht Pizza Mozzarella/Spinat und Thunfisch/Zwiebel.Die Vorspeisen waren sehr gut und die Suppe selbstgemacht und die Pizzen waren top. Dünner Boden , gut und frisch belegt. Der Pizzabäcker versteht absolut sein Handwerk. Wer eine vor fett triefende billig belegte Pizza hier erwartet wie in der Dönerbude und die italienische Küche nicht kennt sollte nicht ins due Fratelli gehen. Der Service war 1 A und hatte Ahnung von guten Essen. Preis / Leistung absolut ok.

Most restaurants in Neustrelitz seemed to be closed when I arrived, jet-lagged and starving, after a grueling trip. I was happy to find La Fontana lively and busy. It was the place for me and two colleagues. We didn't have reservations, but were soon seated...upstairs. Soon after many other patrons streamed in. A few minutes after ordering drinks, wine and sparkling water arrived, and we set to perusing the menu. With one pizza and two pasta dishes sampled between us, I can say the food was pretty decent. My carbonara was fresh, and the pasta done perfectly. The thin pizza crust was a bit chewy, surprisingly, but the flavors worked well. I certainly didn't go away hungry.
