"As Le Pain Q website has no 'contact ' address for complaints, I unfortunately have to state it here. My problem. What happed to the bread? Specifically the whole wheat sourdough, to which I am an avid and faithful consumer. I fear that it has been subjected to shrinkflation! How? Same price, same size, but less dough, less mass, less weight, by, my suspicion, less kneading. Why do I say this? Because for the past 4 months it has come with huge bubble holes. It was NEVER like this previously in my 5 years of purchase. I could find another sourdough some where else, I suppose, but what can I say? This is the best whole wheat sourdough I have ever known! The worst drinks ever. Once bought there hot chocolate, which was just milk with some taste of chocolate, and that me being nice, chocolate was only in the name. Next time I stopped by to get coffee and I have never tasted anything worse than that. Over-burnt beans and overheated milk, like people don’t know how to make coffee at all. Never again

We just love Le Pain Quotidien and seek them out all over we travel in NYC.This here review is geared towards only one item that disappointed on our last visit. The small bagged oat meal cookies ?Not so good…Was like a cheap plain dough with a couple of raisins in each cookie. Disappointing. Has nothing to do with oat meal cookies.PS. The hot ginger lemon tea was terrific. We’ll be back. Just not for the oat meal cookies.Hugs …
