"The Chinese cuisine at this restaurant is exceptional, some of the best I have ever tasted. I used to think that the east coast had the best Chinese food, until I discovered this hidden gem. The first time I dined here, I tried the sweet and sour pork and it was delicious. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember where the restaurant was located and Google Maps did not show it when I searched for Chinese food. However, I was fortunate to find it again, hidden as a small dot on the map. This time, I tried the egg noodle roast pork lo mein and it was better than any other lo mein I have had on the east coast. Great job."

Not sure how I’ve never heard of this place even though I’ve driven past it for years. Tried it for the first time last night and for being a little hole in the wall this is hands down the best Chinese food I’ve ever had! Excellent customer service and the prices are fair. 11/10 would eat here again!

I was pleasantly surprised by the Singapore noodles at this restaurant. They were really good and had a mix of shrimp and pork as the protein, along with shredded carrots and green onions. The flavor was great with just the right amount of curry spice. The portion size was really big and the shrimp were large. My order was delivered quickly, despite the bad reviews I saw when ordering through door dash. Overall, I was really happy with my experience and thought the food was really good.

We were told it would take 10-15 minutes for our pickup order, but ended up waiting at least 30-40 minutes. The food we received had a large portion size but was of low quality. The shrimp in the pan fried noodles lacked flavor, the vegetables were swimming in a soupy sauce, and the noodles were dry. The shrimp egg foo young did not seem to have any egg in it. The pancakes were smothered in the same soupy sauce that came with the other meal. Overall, we were disappointed with the food and service and do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

"I speak as a tourist. I was delighted this place has dedicated, on-the-menu options – as it is apparently open late, it would seem to be worth keeping in mind for that reason. This, and the empanada's great value, lead me to give it three stars. That said, there were some oddities. I got the vegan arepa and the vegan empanada. They were both filled with *exactly the same ingredients* and the empanada was bigger than the arepa – but the arepa costs more than 2x as much. Given these circumstances, and the fact that I liked the empanada more, I can see the empanada being a great deal for a vegan looking late night or for a bit of variety. Both of them were on the bland side, however, and far from imaginative. I did enjoy the plantains in both; otherwise, it was mainly black beans and some avocado. (From the menu, it appears that their several vegan items seem mainly to be rearranging these same ingredients. The small amount of chimichurri I was given added some flavor and was ok, but did not knock my socks off. None of it was bad, and I do think they made at least the arepa fresh with decent ingredients, but there just wasn't much flavor. Finally, they use big styrofoam packaging for to-go, which is actually enough to mean I would avoid eating here again. (Not being a local, I don't know how common this is, but I know it's not even nominally recyclable in SLC and that not all places do it. Updated from previous review on 2021-09-05"
