"We stopped for a few beers and Wings. The wings were cooked perfectly, not over cooked but nice and crispy. We sat out back in their outside bar area. Plenty of fans to keep a nice breeze going. Nice view of the canal with boats passing by and some stopped for lunch too. Good experience, we will be going back."

"Been here a few times. Pulled pork was good. Ribs were a bit dry for my liking. My wife had shrimp she loved. I've also had the Cuban. Pretty decent. I will say the gumbo is the bomb!!! I'd go there just for that. Good selection of sides, collard greens are good....slightly tangy, I prefer slightly salty but different is always good"

"Excellent food, great mom and pop feel to this place. My son and I grabbed a few slices to hold us over, had a couple bites and looked at the menu while in the car and ended up inside ordering a full pizza. The flavor of freshness popped, I dislike most pizza sauce but this was excellent and a compliment to the rest of the pizza, not over bearing. Needless to say we are happy to have found this place so close. Pete and Marie I think) were great super friendly and genuine good people."

"It is very difficult to impress me with pastries and baked goods, grew up in a family "by scratches" and had a small bakery. All I can say is WOW! I can only hope everything is as great as my strawberry. A delicious, buttery, slightly sweet and crispy tart dish filled with pastry cream and glazed strawberries for you to eat the whole yourself! Yum! I also had a fresh Gruyere and ham salad that was nice. The dressing was pretty good."
