We tried hostile, lateral huts, Bar Harbor recommendations, but this is my new “hole in the wall” recommendation for all who travel to Bass/Bar Harbor. Not only was the market price $5 less than the next lowest (the day we ate it was $21 for the whole meal! it was superior in taste! Great food! Excellent service! Just a great place to get a meal! Or even an OH Boy Dough Boy! The atmosphere is very friendly! And beautiful views of Bass Harbor!

Today stopped to one of the best places for a good meal on Mount Desert Island. Had the Oh Boy Dough Boy Dessert and it was as good as I remember. Can't wait to go back!

As fresh as possible! Great views of the port and where the ferry arrives. The lobster is so fresh and fantastic, all you need is the butter to go with it. The fish chowder is mouth irrigation with huge fish sheds. If you are waiting for the ferry to Swan's Island, stop here.
