"we came to dinner tonight when we arrived late in the opposite and did not want to go to the city for dinner. found this place and was pleasantly surprised. an extensive menu, (we went for a sharing plate that had types of meat on it),...fast cheap drinks, and very friendly chatty staff. the building itself is a sports club house, so it has a friend and family feel (safely not eating fine) and a beautiful relaxed atmosphere. for people (dinner and drinks per), which we rounded with a pointed one. great place."

had dinner here. prices are good, large portions, very friendly staff. I don't know, it's a rule, but we always have a small bowl of Rakia(sljivovica) at the end of the house.

I don't understand how this restaurant could reach a high point. everything is normal. before I go there, I asked myself to the hotel reception and I had to hear her opinion that is not bad, but not so good.

"Weisser Bock is a restaurant situated in the heart of Heidelberg between the famous bar street (Untere Straße) and the river. It turned out to be the favourite place for me and my girlfriend! As you enter the place you are welcomed by a magnificent...setting a wonderful mix between antique and the luxuries of modernity. Sitting in any table you have a wonderful view of the restaurant. The menu offers a wide variety of mouth watering starters. I had the Tartar, while my girlfriend tried the carpaccio. They were exquisite. The main course consisted in a tenderloin for me and ravioli with pumpkin for my girlfriend, which really thrilled us. It all was followed by a delicious dessert! All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home made food. The chefs takes great care in selecting the best quality ingredients. The restaurant also caters for all tastes by providing a large selection of the best wines of the region, which are worth sampling. The owner is always around willing to exchange some kind words with all her clients. We really had a pleasant dining experience with food of the most exquisite flavours. For this reason I highly recommend going to the Weisser Bock! See you soon!"

"our last visit in this restaurant was a great disappointment. our son has made a week before our planned visit by phone a reservation, but when we arrived with related from the usa and the Swiss and informed them about our reservation, they said that it was nothing in the book and there was nothing available? table for us. no attempt was made to come to us and there was not even the suggestion of an excuse. the employee we mentioned was actually quite rude and very unprofessional. Consequently, we do not have the intention to guard this place in future - he does not deserve our business (or according to my opinion the ones from others). ."

"have seen the fresko by chance at the city walk. cozy places inside and some places outside a little shielded from the road. espresso quality very good - further coffee specialties looked very good. note that there are cold drinks from proviant berlin among others rhabarber schorle - tastes stunning."

"We were here on a Monday evening. The restaurant was rather full when we arrived. We ordered fish (trout). The taste was certainly good. Until then the service was ok , but then the waiting started. It took a while before they came to take...the empty dishes. I was then waiting for the desert menu , but no one showed up. After a while they noticed I was trying to get their attention. They were very busy doing the dishes and cleaning the bar to close (although there were still plenty of people in the restaurant). After a while we got our desert and then again I had to try to get their attention to get the bill. I indicated that I wanted to pay by card. They brought the bill and again nothing happened. Finally I stood up and went to the bar to pay the bill. One advice : pay some more attention to your clients and clean up when everyone is gone !!"

"Die Servicekraft war freundlich, zuvorkommend und sehr kompetent. Die Burger, besonders der Pollo-Burger, kann ich nur empfehlen. Die Cocktails schmecken auch super, aber ich wünsche mir wenigstens einen günstigeren Cocktailabend , jedoch fairerweise sind die Preise in allen Läden Heidelbergs gestiegen. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal"
