"We're new to Greenville North Carolina. We moved here last November. this was our first visit to the Mayflower Seafood Restaurant. I grew up on good seafood in South Carolina. This is a definite oldie but goodie restaurant. The seafood is fresh, with a Calabash style. The service was great. for this quality of food I was surprised, so the reasonable prices. even with the restaurant with a full bar license. The bar didn't seem to be in operation. There was a very nice family feeling. The restaurant had even 60s and 70s to play music, and not very loud, so you could still be able to talk to each other at your table. The further I go to the better Mayflower, I will start with the customer service from the beginning, it was better then most places today they had everything I ordered, and the food was not burned like some of the other Mayflower dirty fat or just in the frit too long if your in the area this is good the stop less familiar and you already know

First we got our drinks and ordered a salad. I didn't get the salads until the food gets out at the same time. Didn't like that, would have got the salad before the main course. Order Mayflour Special. It had a lot of butter on the plate of food. It had so much that the food would have slipped clean from the plate. The Jumbo shrimps were not at all jumbos, the size best. All I think I'll never order this record again. Maybe it would have been better.
