"This restaurant is AMAZING!!! I am vegan and I was ready to eat bread and drink water because there are no great vegan / vegetarian options in any restaurant. When I arrived, I was greeted by a nice woman. When the rest of our party arrived, we sat, but right before we went to the table, she asked if we had any vegan/gluten free people. I quickly raised my hand, even though I expected nothing great. The young lady who puts us on the table recommended the cake from the menu I had. When I looked over the menu, I started getting giddy. Could it be that I could enjoy a vegan meal with the same zeal in a restaurant with my meat eaters? My waiter Kellan was AMAZING!!! He recommended the spaghetti...

On the way to the external banks and stayed in Elizabeth City instead of Chesapeake this year. So glad we could eat here. We loved this place!!!! The service was phenomenal from the time when we were greeted by the hostess. Morgan, our server was so sweet and attentive. We asked her for recommendations and she was on site. The blueberry vinaigrette dress for salad....for DIE. You should fill it up and sell it! The portions are hearty. We ordered the appetizer sampler plus dinner and would probably have ordered the small part to dinner. Can't wait to visit again next year and see Morgan!!!

This restaurant was the place we decided to have a dinner for a small party. We were quoted a price and we arrived on time. The food was cold and their excuse was that 'large ' parties must expect cold food. Then they overcharged us for the food and added 12 dollars for linen. Nothing was ever said about a linen charge. To top it off we had asked for a sparkling apple cider toast and we waited 20 minutes for it after we had eaten and it was apple juice with sierra mist in it. owner admitted this after the fact They charged us anyway! We live in Vermont and all he would do was offer us a gift certificate we could never use. Hardly good business practice. Must only be interested in the profit....

Andy and his team were not only extremely professional, they were also personable and went the extra mile for our wedding. From our tasting, emails, phone calls, and meeting the week before the wedding, Andy was a dream to work with. He made sure during the reception that we were fed and had drinks. Our buffet menu of the Chicken Ashley, Teres Major, seasonal veggies, and mac and cheese was to die for! Although I only managed to snag the Tuna Poke appetizer, I heard the angus beef sliders and bruschetta were also divine.
