"Steve and Joy run the inn with love. We enjoyed ourselves so much for our romantic getaway last month that we had to return with our children, who also had a great time. The house, which is in the middle of all our favourite Pocono attractions, is beautifully decorated with nostalgic pieces of the original structure (including pictures that are framed with the original window panes), and kept in tip top shape. Steve and Joy are friendly and treated all the other guests and us like family. They even provide a breakfast that tops any breakfast we've ever received as part of a b&b or hotel stay by far. We heard Steve and Joy might be retiring and if it's true, we hope the next owners treat us half as nicely because we intend to keep coming back."

"We were on vacation in the area and decided to give this place a try. The waitress was rather rude when we told her we didn't have reservations. She shook her head and rolled her eyes and walked away without saying a word. After waiting a few minutes we left. We will not recommend this place to anyone"

"11/10/23 first time here. Been wanting to come here for some time. Met my friend and we sat at the bar it was nice and a good craft beer selection. Frost (duo was playing and they sounded great and not too loud. We then moved into the dining room for dinner, i had the southwest rigatoni and it was good, interesting flavors. It could have been hotter, temps varied across different parts of the dish. It was a good sized portion too. I'd get it again. I let our server know, she offered to fix it but i was ok with it overall. Hopefully if YOU order it after reading this, the temperature of the food will be consistent : We had the pickle chips to start and my friend had the quesadilla good. I may have to get that next time. Tres leches for dessert was good and a nice size Service was good and friendly. I look forward to returning soon. "As locals, we knew about this place, but never found the right time to go. Now that we have, I wish we had tried it out sooner! The Mediterranean style calamari was fantastic, especially for Barrett Township expectations. We will have to get back here again soon. The entrance was a little confusing, and it felt like we were sitting in the dining room of somebody's house. Meal type: Dinner"

"It was my first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and it truly exceeded my expectations! Our hosts and owners of the home, Marty and Gail, were an absolute pleasure. I was afraid I'd feel uncomfortable in someone else's home, but that was not the case at all. They were very helpful without being too overbearing. Breakfast alone was worth the stay. The home is wonderfully decorated with lots of attention to detail. It's in proximity to most attractions. The negative reviews I read are absolutely ridiculous because clearly some people expected a 5 star Hyatt hotel with the bells and whistles, which this is not. Its perfectly cozy and a nice relaxing place to get away from the busy city life. THANK YOU MARTY AND GAIL!"
