"I would give the restaurant 5 stars but their reservation process we didn't like. We couldn't get anyone to answer the phone for a week nor get any response about reservations. We thought maybe there was something wrong with the site. We went out to Philly anyway and took a chance. There was a 2hour wait but it was Valentine's Day weekend so no complaints. We waited. When we were seated it's a cross between lounge dining space but the ambiance is great they had it looking just as the website showed. There was a DJ playing great music. This restaurant had everything. Great food, large portions, wonderful staff, cool modern atmosphere, and a bomb playlist! Highly recommend this spot for couples or groups. The eggs were soft and fluffy. The chicken was very well seasoned and not over seasoned. The greens were delicious! The waffles were very solid.

the food was excellent. On Sunday they have a perfect mix of breakfast lunch and brunch options. the atmosphere was beautiful as the restaurant is in an old mansion. parking was a bit tricky and from stepping in the door to the time food reached our lips was about an hour wait. the food options will please even the most pickiest eater. I loved the music.

Great service, the staff was attentive and the food had a fantastic homemade taste and feel to it. The restaurant was large enough to give everyone space, yet cozy and intimate enough to still have an engaging conversation. I had a piece of frosted pound cake that had threw perfect balance of flavor and moistness. Wish I tried it before I got back to my hotel room, I would have ordered another slice.

"We were there celebrating two birthdays. Our server Faith was wonderful. She was attentive without being intrusive and knowledgeable about the menu. We were a table of 6 and ordered quite a bit of food, some of which was great and others lackluster. The bao buns were great and the small calamari salad was huge and those who had it said delicious. The spareribs were good as well as the edamame dumplings, although the way those were served made it hard to fully enjoy. Each dumpling should be on a individual type spoon so you can enjoy the soup part as well as the dumpling. The way they were served in one large bowl with only one spoon made it so the soup part is left at the bottom. I did request extra spoons from the expediter but they never came. The worst part of our appetizer course was somehow an item was switched to another in the computer and served to us. It had shellfish in it and that wasn’t known when someone at our table who doesn’t eat shellfish ate it. The sashimi was good but the tuna tartare thing was really bad. The entrees we had were the duck, which I was told was delicious, the miso cod, which was fishy, the whole fish which was tasteless, the lobster fried rice, which was okay but lacking flavor. The best dish was the black pepper beef, it was delicious and elegantly served. We had all the sides and all were quite good especially the eggplant and the wasabi mashed potatoes. It was a nice evening but it felt a little stale for a Starr restaurant."

"The whole experience was wonderful. The staff is so beautiful and pleasant. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken mile and it was spicy. My husband had a lobster court and he torn it. My husband also had an old fashion and said it was the best he ever had. Definitely recommend."

"Talula’s Garden is my new favorite restaurant! I have lived in the city for 35 years. Each entree we ordered was super excellent. The seasonings raised the bar in the flavor department. "tldr: amazing at always step the complete glowing review: the restaurant itself was very beautiful. the lighting was a perfect balance between dim and still in the position to read the menu. the decorative lights were so beautiful. there were also the most cosiest stands in which I was ever, they are surrounded by curtains and feel so private and comfortable. the corners have kissen and once I was stuffed at the end of the meal I was grateful to lean on them. the personal was wonderful. they let our table see the fish and bring them. they have great suggestions and know the menu well. that should die. the appetizers, sides and main dishes were delicious and perfectly cooked. No one on our table of six had a crumbling left on their teller. we had vegetarian dishes, fish, huh, brote, it was all wonderful."
