"The best fish food I've ever had. The hosts, Carolin and Rene will make your visit a very special event. This place is the number one fish restaurant in TripAdvisor ranking for a reason because it is. You have a great wine card, but surprise no menu. They provide the results of daily fresh fishing by local fishermen. We had Pike Perch and Cod as the main course. Amazing! Juicy, a scalp. There are three different types of potatoes coming with the fish so called fish potatoes, potato salad and potatoes cooked in buttermilk. Look at them all. All delicious! First dish we tested the fish soup and the cucumber salad. A dream too. The wine map is fantastic. In the end, our review was absolutely reasonable. My recommendation, a must go."

"this hotel we knew about an earlier stay. it is located on the balmer lake, away from the usual used tourist because. they can play golf here as the name says. it is a large, idyllic location with different smaller houses on it, in which the rooms are located. we used the panoramic terrace for all stays on the afternoon. we didn't live here. In 2021 we went back to balsam to drink coffee. my companion drove the car too short behind the recipe. there is a narrower way to the panoramic terrace. I went out and went on the somewhat steep way. my companion was looking for a parking lot. later we learned that there is another parking space on the top, about 100 m away. I was there to save the steep descent. there is no elevator to the panoramic restaurant. the guests will be brought into their rooms with their luggage with small golf cars. the hotel guests can also drive to the golf course with such a car. When I went to the upper parking lot, I was asked by a hotel employee if I wanted to go. as I almost arrived on the parking lot, it was not worth it. Otherwise I would have tried: the panoramic terrace offers a beautiful view of the balmersee on a series of tables. in the afternoon, cakes, ice cups and matching drinks such as coffee, tea and soft drinks are offered for coffee. we had a cup of ice and a coffee taste, enjoyed the magnificent view. the other guests on the terrace seemed to live in the hotel. the whole atmosphere was friendly relaxed. the personal was as they can expect in such houses, friendly and friendly. is currently closed due to corona to ende februar 2022. I wish the operators that it will continue with many guests. we can recommend the hotel for the afternoon coffee visit. we can't say anything about the hotel stay. we liked what we saw."

"Wir waren am 31.07.2017, nach einer langen Fahrradtour im Landgasthaus Klein mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern eingekehrt. Die Lokalität machte einen guten Eindruck. Das Personal war Freundlich. Das Essen war allerdings mies.Die bestellten Speisen:1 x Hamburger Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln 1 x Champignon-Rahm Schnitzel mit Pommes 1 x Nudeln mit Tomatensoße 1 x Fischstäbchen mit Kartoffelpüree 2 x Gartensalat mit HähnchenbruststreifenZunächst einmal kam das Essen mit erheblicher Verspätung.Das Hamburger Schnitzel war nur Lauwarm, zu lang gebraten und insgesamt zu trocken. Die Bratkartoffeln waren viel zu ölig.Das Champignon-Rahm Schnitzel ebenfalls nur Lauwarm, zu lang gebraten und zu trocken. Pommes Lauwarm.Nudeln mit Tomatensoße auch eher kalt als warm und die Größe der Portionen schien von Teller zu Teller zu variieren (es wurden mehrere Portionen an unserem Tisch vorbei getragen).Die Fischstäbchen, wie die vorangegangenen Speisen auch, einfach zu kalt. Und der Knaller an diesem Abend:Der Gartensalat mit Hähnchenbruststreifen.Die Größe der Portionen war für den Preis von fast 11 € einfach nur winzig. Die Menge an Salat entsprach eher einem Beilagensalat als einem Salatteller. Die angegebenen Hähnchenbruststreifen entpuppten sich dann eher als 2 Hähnchenbrust-Brocken.Eine Empfehlung für dieses Restaurant kann und werde ich nicht aussprechen."

"Essen war in Ordnung...Es wäre schön gewesen wenn die Pizza schon geschnitten gewesen wäre... Bedienung freundlich aber nicht sehr aufmerksam...Hätten gern noch mehr bestellt aber es kam einfach niemand an den Tisch... Auf meinen Cappuccino müsste ich eine Viertelstunde warten... Dafür war er aber exzellent...Wir kamen uns nicht sehr willkommen vor... Hausgäste werden wahrscheinlich bevorzugter bedient... Ein zweiter Besuch wahrscheinlich eher nicht"
