Nico’s Taco On Como

We had the privilege to have dinner here on our short visit to the Twin Cities. Beautiful neighborhood in St. Paul, the food fantastic and a great atmosphere. We were able to sit outside which is beautifully decorated with plants and colorful umbrellas. We found out that the restaurant is owned by the Victoria family, an amazing family that continue to impress with good food and fabulous restaurants in the Wisconsin-Minnesota area. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian tacos were very tasty.

This place is packed, so it may be wise to pick less busy times to dine. I went here a couple times with friends and family. The first time I wasn't feeling well so I could not give a fair assessment. But the food my family brought home I enjoyed. What I had was a good balance of tangy and savory. The second time I felt much better. There is plenty of outdoor space decorated with a variety of plants and flowers, but we ate inside in case it would rain again. I had a very poor experience at this location. I came in with a group of 6, we were seated immediately and put an order in for guacamole, which came out fairly quickly. We kept having to flag our server down to put in drink or food orders instead of him coming to us. He did seem very new, so we tried to be patient as he was likely still learning the ropes. After putting in our food order, we waited 45 minutes with no update. When our server finally came by again, he said there was an issue with their computer, our order didn't go through, but he would put it through at that moment.
