"My husband and I LOVED our take out meal from Odom’s Kitchen. The pick up process was very easy — Chef Brandon brought the food to me and showed me the steak, lamb chops, potatoes, asparagus, fish, and cheesecake before I left. He also gave me instructions for reheating. I highly recommend Odom’s Kitchen for lunch or for your catering needs. The food is divine and Chef Odom is wonderful!"

Stopped in for lunch while traveling to Baton Rouge. I must say whatever the chef is doing to make the food this amazing he needs to keep on doing. It was amazing and they were so nice.

Such great food for an off the beaten path restaurant. Customer service was EXCELLENT. The server was so friendly and nice, and the chef came out a few time to check on us. The food was really really good, I don't know what he does to them burgers, but it was so good!

This place is amazing. We were in town from out of state and found this little hole in the wall joint, sells the BEST comfort food!! Red beans, dirty rice, pork chops, all amazing. Also giant portions for a decent price. We couldn't finish it all so have lunch for tomorrow, too. Definitely eat here!!!

"I have finally eaten at all of the fancy steak places I know of. Ruth’s, Sullivans, Buddys (Hammond , Flemings. Ruth’s was slightly more expensive than Flemings, but not by much. I ordered the ribeye at all of them for scientific research purposes. Food wise, Ruth’s has the best steaks, Flemings the best sides, and Buddy’s the best overall (it is by far the cheapest . The table bread was awesome. Steaks were cooked 100% perfectly, which is hard to get because medium means something different everywhere you go. I ordered the ribeye and my girl ordered the New York strip. The ribeye was better than the other three places ribeyes. My girl didn’t care for the New York strip, she said it was very salty. I didn’t notice, but the ribeye was definitely better. The salads were great. I ordered the chopped and my girl the Caesar. Both were great, and the chopped presentation was very unique. The sides were pretty disappointing. We ordered mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and broiled tomato. The tomato must have had sugar on it, it tasted like ketchup. The creamed spinach was bland, and the mashed potatoes tasted homemade (which is good for $3 side, but for a fancy steak place at $10 it needs to be otherworldly . Gave my girl a cheesecake since we were celebrating her birthday. Probably the best cheesecake we have had. Overall a fantastic experience. Our waitress Diamond was excellent and friendly. The water glasses did not get less than half full (or empty? . Bathrooms were immaculate."
