"we saw restaurants on google and Olvera’s came highly recommended, so we decided to try it in the city for a night. this is a small jewel, excellent eating, fast friendly service and a great atmosphere. I don't think they can go wrong with any court here, and the churros are amazing. the prices are fabulous."

this restaurant surprised me. the place was very inconceivable from the outside and a bit older in the inner, but the service was nice and I had a really delicious steak burrito for $8. you can eat well there.

We were just passing through. We came for lunch and ordered off the dinner menu. I had the whitefish tacos, beans and white rice. My husband had the carne asada. It was delicious! The fish was soft buttery and the carne asada was very tender. What a great find!!

Been to Olvera's numerous times over the years and have never had bad food or service. Large portions, staff is constantly checking without being obnoxious. No idea why some fools would give a bad review, no pleasing some folks. Highly recommended when in Ridgecrest.
