"Gencarelli 's is one of those places where you walk in and you go whoa! Being on the side of a major highway you would never expect to find such a nice little Italian restaurant. The front is deceiving once you walk in you 'll see the dining room is nicely remodeled. After you sit they bring out the most amazingly soft and buttery bread, so good you 'll eat at least two baskets. I 've had a few different things on the menu and have enjoyed every single one. Our family's go to spot for great Italian food. Pizza is fantastic, service is great, staff is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend trying if you havent already.

Have lived in Parsippany for over 10 years and had only been here once 9 years ago until this past weekend. The food was fantastic. We were a big group so we ordered food and took it to someone's home. Even after taking it home it still tasted great. We had the Rice balls with Vodka Sauce, an order of Ravioli, a couple orders of penne vodka, 2 salads, a plain pizza, a margarita pizza and a chicken cutlet vodka sauce pie. Everything was great but I think the chicken cutlet vodka sauce pie was simply amazing. Looking forward to going back again.
