"Southwest Steak Skin. Not bad with the food and our service was great. The server came to us several times, which is always a plus. The only negatives are the score that should be an A. Not sure why it was a 83, but this is simply acceptable. The hostess also moved a slow cleaning of a table that was stacked with food and utensils by a previous party. Maybe there's a staff problem to think about it. Clean parking. The place could use an effort, but again it did not take too much away from the overall experience."

"Sorry but a lunch order of a double fish ,fries and a drink. Well the fish was over done seemed to be microwave and the cheese was nuked off of it , the fries were over salty, and where was the ice in the drink. Come on is this your best. I hope not this was my. First checkers and it will be a long time if I ever come back to checkers again"

"I mean.. wow! Where do I even start? I told the awesome woman there, that greeted me up front that I've never been there before and that I've always wanted to try Jamaican oxtail and what does she do? With a smile, she offers me a sample of oxtail and some jerk chicken. I was blown away by this woman's hospitality. I ended up ordering the oxtail, jerk chicken, rice and cabbage and it was some of the best food I've ever eaten in my life. The atmosphere was amazing with the lighting, decorations, and awesome music. I'll recommend this place to anyone and will be coming here on the regular."

"The new Glatzinos Giant Jersey Subs at 596 Cherry St today after my Doc appointment in downtown. It wasn't like fighting against the mass of Macon Burger Week and losing Baldinos since they left the area after being in the building where the restaurant of the Three Countries is. In any case, you have a great place right opposite the Capitol Theatre at the corner 2 and the place is fresh and clean. I ordered the #7 with Mayo, and also wanted a sample of her salads, so I asked for a 16oz pasta, 8oz Macaroni and 8oz Potato. The sandwich was good, but not what I remembered from Baldinos who always had a lot of oil-ice mix. Also the salads I got were all small 5oz sizes. It's okay, maybe it's growing pain. I'll try again in a few months if I have another week in downtown."
