"A wonderful experience from beginning to end! Came early and had a relaxing time at the outdoor bar, including a great wine and cocktail list, and some very interesting and delicious appetizers. Then moved to a table for our dinner reservation, and at any time the staff was friendly, welcoming, and went out their way to take care of our preferences (selection, heating, etc.). We were impressed by the menu options, and even more by the tasteful and artistically prepared dishes. I had the Scottish salmon (hand raised from a special farm and so fresh, and so beautifully cooked, moist on the inside, and fabulous scratchy skin) and my wife had the amazing Bolognese (wonderfully warm and tasteful). The staff was busy but had good control and was very attentive and accessible. We were extra to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere on the terrace, and we look forward to the return! Luckily Queequeqs will remain open except for a month or so at the beginning of the year."

"As a main-lander, I spent weeks looking for the right place to propose to my fiancé, and I couldn’t have picked a better spot. Experience: The staff, including manager/owner/server/chef, made our special night the one of fairytales. I’m so great full for the amazing services and hospitality they provided us. Food: We had the burrata as a starter with the provided bread, and the depth of flavor from just a simple appetizer was phenomenal. Our meals, including the steak filet mignom and chicken milnese were both cooked and prepared to perfection, and the portions were far larger than most comparable restaurants on the island. Lastly, the dessert, the buttercake with fruit topping and ice cream could have been a meal itself it was so delicious. Atmosphere: The place was warm and inviting, modern but rustic, and had the kind of vibes that an outsider felt welcome. Most tables were locals, which tells you that even in the off season this place is worth going to."

"MUSHROOM ROLL is where I am at BABY!!! The first time on the island! WHAG a beautiful place and a wonderful restaurant! Amazing food has some Rockin’ hospitality. 15 of 10 will go back. The big ole cried to our amazing waitress, didn't catch her name. Refilled my water as soon as it was out! Had a group of 7 with me and they all loved their dishes. Compliments to the cook, of course. I hope you have the same excellent experience I had when you visit!!"

"After reading all mixed reviews here, we didn't know what to expect! We were pleasantly surprised to find delicious food and incredible service. Our waitress was very attentive and the staff often refilled my waterglass. The food was so delicious we have to start the meatballs and Arancini (both great). For Entrees we have the bucatini carbonara (great) and Trenette (crab, flounder, shrimp) this was simply okay. We also got the chicken, which was very juicy and delicious. Would definitely recommend eating here, despite some of the reviews mention terrible service food!"
