"I asked the owner for a SPICY Penang Curry... It came close to the best I had. A good penang should sweat you, but the flavors should cut through the heat.. I'd like more Kafir lime leaves... From the quality of a court I had so far... You can make much worse by ordering from another Thai restaurant in a 10 miles radius. This is a new place.. And I can only hope that they will manage to maintain the quality."

We proud Thai Nie a disappointment. We eat or take weekly. The food is as authentic (we know bc we are Thais), as it could be (about North Jersey). The owners are really friendly, care. Staff are also friendly, helpful. Very recommended.

This restaurant in New Jersey is one of the rare places where you can find extremely spicy food. I ordered the Thai spicy soup, which was seriously spicy. For my main course, I had the Thai hot spicy basil duck which was very good, but I wish it had even more spice.
