"This is THE place to go when you’re in Lexington. The food is absolutely incredible, especially if you’re looking for truly home cooked food. I went with my fiancée and there was not a thing we ordered that we didn’t like. The staff is great also. If you go I recommend asking for Allison. She was a peach. Next time we’re in town, we will be stopping back in. Five stars isn’t enough."

they were very busy, but we sat as soon as we got in. the waiting staff was excellent. eating was phenomenal. I had a country fried steak and roasted green tomato together with kartoffeln. great food. friendly staff. I'll be back.

I have loved this restaurant for years! the unmatched furniture and relaxed atmosphere make it a unique local favorite. I recommend the sweet plate and make sure to get the fried green tomato and apple frit! dessert is a must and you cannot make a wrong decision there, my favorite is the key lime pie.
