"Once again, coming from Florida, visiting my dad in Gossau, we had to eat in La Pergola, of course. I have been invited to many restaurants in the area, but La Pergola is still my favorite, especially among Italian restaurants throughout the St. Gallen area. Roberto Cavaliere runs his restaurant beautifully and competently. It has a comfortable and friendly ambience, very good staff and the food presented this time, like all many previous times, was excellent, tasty and also attractive. The wine selection is eclectic, interesting and also very inexpensive. The 5 of us all had different menu points, a starter, a main course and every desert. And we were all very satisfied, including the proposed bottles of white and red wines. Surely I will visit La Pergola every time I am in Gossau. For me it has all the ingredients to make this my very favorite restaurant for a nice evening; and my dad and friends feel the same. And happy they have dinners here often. I love La Pergola!!!"
