"Full disclosure: We live about three minutes away, so we have been to this restaurant more than once. Actually, quite a few times. tl;dr: We were never disappointed. The ambience is simply nice. Modern with a touch of vintage. The backroom is especially nice. The menu contains what you would expect from a very good Bavarian restaurant. All local must eats checked, and with no frills or thrills. Simply rock solid Bavarian food. The quality of the ingredients is very high, even by Munich standards. You can order both meats and fish with confidence, as they will be fresh, tasty, and well-made. The pork roast deserves special mentioning. Unless you are used to US serving sizes, the small one wi...

Excellent bavarian food, served fast and in big portions. Would go there more if it were closer to the hotel. For a family of four we paid 65 eur (food, drinks and tip).

Decent food and fast service. Again and very annoying is the fact that you need to spend more than 30€ to pay with the card. Credit cards not accepted. Some places in Germany seems to live in the XX century.

We followed the recommendation from a local and were very happy with the place, relaxed and friendly. Great food as good as a German grandma would make it with good quality ingredients. We had pork meat with potatoes and beer, of course. Price is very...affordable for Munich standards

"I often feel like visiting a Greek restaurant as a short trip to Greece. Pleasant holiday memories come high and winter before the door is quickly forgotten. If you travel with the S-2 from Munich towards Erding, you will find the glimpse of this Greek restaurant at Feldkirchen's tributary station. Large chestnuts with a typical beer garden, a beautifully renovated house. One hopes for a good meal at perhaps cheaper prices than in Munich. The restaurant was well visited when I entered. The guest room consists of two interconnected rooms. The decoration is Greek-altbacken. The tables and chairs are very close to each other. The greeting was very friendly, we were immediately shown a place. An ouzo was also brought together with the menu. The menu did not show any special features, but that was not expected. The number of dishes beats, the variation of the individual dishes is often low. That's relative. I had grilled Gyros with baby calamaris, with rice, Zaziki (remembered to a finished product) and salad. The Gyros was good, the Kalamaris – well and he rest really was not worth a review. The restaurant is recommended, otherwise I would go for a different location for dinner. The beer garden seems worth a trip in summer. The old chestnuts are also very worth seeing without leaves. Other: The toilets are clean but not clean. Rich parking available. S-Bahn at a distance of 30 m."
