"I did not have a good time here. They had good shots and the drink I had was ok. The crowd is rowdy, drunk, and rude. There are more barstools than room at the bar so people tend to sit in stools behind the people sitting at the bar. There was an extremely annoying group sitting in stools directly behind my group at the bar. They were touching me (like grabbing my hair purposefully) and I felt trapped and uncomfortable. Not even a very young crowd here, seems like the place for those who are immature, drunk, and annoying."

First of all, the Men's room smelled like somebody peed on the floor. I to,ld the waitress, but nobody went in to clean it up. Second, the food was way too salty. The chips served with nachos were salty and the fries were way too salty.

The Tea actually was disgusting. Almost made me vomit. The bun on my burger was stale and the patty was seared until brown and chewy all the way though. I dont know why the server asked how I wanted my burger if they were clearly just going to grill it into oblivion either way. Maybe the other food is decent? At the price point I will not be going back to find out. Save yourselves the trouble.

I have been here a couple times and had a decent time, but this time the guys working the door decided to pretend my friends had fake IDs. Both of my friends are 21 and have brand new New York State licenses. I was allowed in but they were turned down and the guy working the door just handed them back and didn 't say anything until they asked if they could go in. Terrible and childish service from the frat boy at the door. Would not recommend to a friend.

"We were there celebrating two birthdays. Our server Faith was wonderful. She was attentive without being intrusive and knowledgeable about the menu. We were a table of 6 and ordered quite a bit of food, some of which was great and others lackluster. The bao buns were great and the small calamari salad was huge and those who had it said delicious. The spareribs were good as well as the edamame dumplings, although the way those were served made it hard to fully enjoy. Each dumpling should be on a individual type spoon so you can enjoy the soup part as well as the dumpling. The way they were served in one large bowl with only one spoon made it so the soup part is left at the bottom. I did request extra spoons from the expediter but they never came. The worst part of our appetizer course was somehow an item was switched to another in the computer and served to us. It had shellfish in it and that wasn’t known when someone at our table who doesn’t eat shellfish ate it. The sashimi was good but the tuna tartare thing was really bad. The entrees we had were the duck, which I was told was delicious, the miso cod, which was fishy, the whole fish which was tasteless, the lobster fried rice, which was okay but lacking flavor. The best dish was the black pepper beef, it was delicious and elegantly served. We had all the sides and all were quite good especially the eggplant and the wasabi mashed potatoes. It was a nice evening but it felt a little stale for a Starr restaurant."
