"sabor peruano is located in the shopping center, so it was a little confusing to find from outside. it is a very sweet little restaurant inside with Peruvian gifts as well. they had a very separate vegan menu with vegan versions of any authentic recipe. we had the palta rellena, vegan empanadas, and the vegan lomo salado that were all very good. I've never been able to vegan Peruvian food before, so I was quite excited that this place had vegan cheese and has been available since. no vegan desserts yet, but the dame that works there (which I think must have been the owner) said she worked on more vegan dessert options."

I was very pleased with the vegan options here, and my omnivore friend also reported delicious options. Highly recommended for a low key authentic experience.

We were very happy that there was a separate all-vegan menu! They were very knowledgeable about the vegan options and all the food was good. Make sure to try the empanadas because they are amazing!

In Santa Fe for a conference, found this little restaurant thanks to Happy Cow. Hubby and I had the stuffed avocado, the quinoa soup, the Potato Queen, and the seitan dish. The food is simple but delicious (if you don’t mind to eat store-bought fries and seitan, or canned olives, which I didn’t), and the owner/cook is charming and “muy simpatica”. I liked the bright, colorful decorations, tablecloth, and clothing offerings. A little overpriced but hey, it’s Santa Fe and Santa Fe IS expensive, at least all the other restaurants we tried were. (But it’s so gorgeous that the trip is really worth the price

"My wife and I wanted a nice, relaxed place to sit outside and have a fun dinner. We were very disappointed with the service. It took our waiter about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity while waiting to order drinks). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and water, but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We haven't seen our server in a long time. We felt our starter was a bit delayed when foodrunners showed up with our starters. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But by this point we were already in the middle of the meal. The food tasted good. Nothing out of the ordinary, but not bad. I admit the nachos were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered had breadcrumbs but that was missing. Fortunately, the server took care of it pretty quickly. We were never asked if we would like to have our drinks refilled. And after dinner we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. Neither of the problems on their own would have been a big deal, but together it made a somewhat uncomfortable experience. The waiter was nice and apologized. They also put together the starter for us which was lovely. Maybe it was a free night or maybe a new server but can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambience was nice."
