"Of the three Shoya 's I 've been to, this one is certainly the best. There is a good choice between what I would call 'regular ' sushi rolls and fixed plates of sushi and/or sashimi, but also ramen and rice dishes with different types of meat or fish. We were with a party of three and ordered different 'fixed plates ' and all of them came with miso soup. The gyoza was nice, the dough was not too thick, slightly translucent even. I 'm used to thicker dough and slightly crispy, but I think this 'thin dough ' version is actually nicer. I have hardly ever been to a restaurant where the photos shown in the menu were actually good, and never where the food that was served really looked like what...

When I ate here, I couldn't believe that I was having sushi in Germany. I'm a California native and thought we had the best sushi outside of Japan. I figured that I would give this place a try, I like an adventure. It was really good and the staff were nice. They played American Blues music. I was in a happy place. Irony and all. The food was a little different than what I am used to in California, but delicious nonetheless. I would go back.

I haven't been to Shoya in years. It use to be my go-to sushi place. After all these years, I realized I still love it! The sushi rolls are great. Although I tried the crunchy tuna roll and was a bit disappointed. It was huge but I excepted it to be crunchy and hot from the outside, but instead they used cooked tuna and it was completely cold and not very crunchy. I wouldn't order it again. However, I was completely satisfied with the Hawaii roll! You pay more for the quality you get at Shoya but its still reasonable for sushi. Not cheap though. Next time I'm going out for sushi I will definitely keep Shoya in mind.

"my man and I were in a few for a family birthday party. we had some time for us and took public transportation to visit schloss nymphenburg, which was a wonderful excursion also on a windy, wintery afternoon. not quite ready to return to the house...we googled Italian restaurants near me. the one we visited first did not take any plastic. the second location was solo italia. it was a Friday night and the place jumped around 19 o'clock. we didn't even think we were making a reservation, and everyone was taken table. no problem, we could order the cash. it followed several hours of relaxation, delicious eating, weeping and atmosphere. we ordered the green salads that are large, fresh, and most welcome after days very little green on our tellers. pasta bolognese and spaghetti carbonara were excellent. we did not try out the pizzas, although they looked fantastic (and they produced, kept all waiting workers and our bar-tenders very busy to mante the many.) solo italia is a place that prices were much less than the fancier sites round, but the quality of the food was comparable. it was simply a funny, bouncing place. a scream from our barkeeper maurice d. he was very busy with the drinks orders, the semi-trailer pizza and in the regular good work. he still managed to be polite and attentive that we were sitting on his bar. very professional and personal. if they are on the look for a great Italian place outside the Munich city center (but easily reached by tram 25) try solo italia, they have a great time!"
