"I came here one morning when nothing seemed to go right and I was running late for work… i went to pay for the items i ordered and for some reason my card kept declining. That particular day i didn't have cash so i tried a couple more times and proceeded to leave but the owners wife told me she would pay for it. I guess she sensed the terrible day I was having already. I was so touched i almost cried. Not only did i get good customer service but she also made my day so much better. I went back … – show"

Breakfast was fantastic, I appreciated the atmosphere and New Orleansesque vibe. The bacon is outstanding and I highly recommend the smoked salmon bagel.

BEST FRENCH TOAST… What a pleasure it was to stop in for a bite at this restaurant. Staff were amazing, friendly, we felt like we were home away from home. The food was delicious!!! I must say best French Toast I have ever had.

"I have finally eaten at all of the fancy steak places I know of. Ruth’s, Sullivans, Buddys (Hammond , Flemings. Ruth’s was slightly more expensive than Flemings, but not by much. I ordered the ribeye at all of them for scientific research purposes. Food wise, Ruth’s has the best steaks, Flemings the best sides, and Buddy’s the best overall (it is by far the cheapest . The table bread was awesome. Steaks were cooked 100% perfectly, which is hard to get because medium means something different everywhere you go. I ordered the ribeye and my girl ordered the New York strip. The ribeye was better than the other three places ribeyes. My girl didn’t care for the New York strip, she said it was very salty. I didn’t notice, but the ribeye was definitely better. The salads were great. I ordered the chopped and my girl the Caesar. Both were great, and the chopped presentation was very unique. The sides were pretty disappointing. We ordered mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and broiled tomato. The tomato must have had sugar on it, it tasted like ketchup. The creamed spinach was bland, and the mashed potatoes tasted homemade (which is good for $3 side, but for a fancy steak place at $10 it needs to be otherworldly . Gave my girl a cheesecake since we were celebrating her birthday. Probably the best cheesecake we have had. Overall a fantastic experience. Our waitress Diamond was excellent and friendly. The water glasses did not get less than half full (or empty? . Bathrooms were immaculate."
