"I come here fairly often and the service and quality of the sushi is always good. Which is why I am a repeat customer. They have a very good assortment of nigiri and many different types of rolls. They do have non sushi items, though I've never had them, I have been with friends that have ordered them and they look very good and tasty. But seeing Sonny back was a bonus! He's always been my favourite sushi maker and had been gone for a while, so it's nice to see him back. I will always recommend Simply Sushi for everything I've mentioned and will keep coming back because of them."

Great price for what you get. Coming from the coast, i was pleasantly surprised of the quality of the fish. They definitely had a few weird rolls that a had to try. It was overall tasty. I'd go back for the musubi roll.

Everything was on point. The sushi chefs (incl Trang) did very well. Everything tasted right/good. Went home happy. Must try Spicy upside down shrimp, simply tuna, Lotus hand roll, Park City tempura roll, and coconut shrimp tempura roll. Great place to eat after a few runs down the slope!

Always excellent service and food! We love coming to Simply Sushi for take out or dine in. This is a great simple sushi place, not a gourmet restaurant, no quail eggs, just basic fare, but friendly, good prices, fresh, and fun! Update: Today we had Garrin as our own personal Sushi Chef at the counter, he was so friendly and fast at making our Firecracker Roll and 10 piece Sashimi that we will definitely ask for him every time we go in!! He made our dining experience very fun and memorable! Excellent service, great sushi!

"I speak as a tourist. I was delighted this place has dedicated, on-the-menu options – as it is apparently open late, it would seem to be worth keeping in mind for that reason. This, and the empanada's great value, lead me to give it three stars. That said, there were some oddities. I got the vegan arepa and the vegan empanada. They were both filled with *exactly the same ingredients* and the empanada was bigger than the arepa – but the arepa costs more than 2x as much. Given these circumstances, and the fact that I liked the empanada more, I can see the empanada being a great deal for a vegan looking late night or for a bit of variety. Both of them were on the bland side, however, and far from imaginative. I did enjoy the plantains in both; otherwise, it was mainly black beans and some avocado. (From the menu, it appears that their several vegan items seem mainly to be rearranging these same ingredients. The small amount of chimichurri I was given added some flavor and was ok, but did not knock my socks off. None of it was bad, and I do think they made at least the arepa fresh with decent ingredients, but there just wasn't much flavor. Finally, they use big styrofoam packaging for to-go, which is actually enough to mean I would avoid eating here again. (Not being a local, I don't know how common this is, but I know it's not even nominally recyclable in SLC and that not all places do it. Updated from previous review on 2021-09-05"
