"Looks like they are still operating as drive through only but clearly it’s not always been that way. They had a 3 thigh special with 2 sides and hush puppies for less than $7. My wife and I spent less than $14 and got enough food for dinner if we chose that. We both opted for the fried chicken and it was fantastic. Not heavily breaded, flavorful. Between the two of us, the beans were good, the onion rings and especially the sweet potato casserole were great. I still can’t believe the value. This is Southern comfort Food, nothing fancy, but this same meal would cost at least $35 in Charlotte for 2 at lunch. We’ll definitely be back to try the BBQ."

Great barbecue sandwiches. Perfect just as is, or you can add coleslaw or sauces. Each sandwich is below $5.00.

We love the fried chicken at Smoky Mountain Barbecue. Their banana pudding is the best. They have an extensive menu at this home town walk through and sit down restaurant. The place is clean and the staff is super friendly.
