"As other reviewers mentioned, the service is a bit slow. It seems to be run by a mom and her kids. Or maybe 2 moms and their kids, but it’s not what you’d call professional waitstaff. More like ‘trying their best to be helpful’. (Similar vibe to Humdingers in Palmer, but far far better food here). If you can set that shortcoming aside, the offerings are worth waiting for. Delicious authentically prepared Greek food, fresh ingredients and made on the spot. The menu is not extensive but offers a decent variety. Prices on the higher side for a cafe, but well worth it for the quality of the food. Plan on $15-25 per person. Serving sizes are generous for the most part. A cup of soup is tiny at $...

we appeared on a Sunday and were disappointed to find it closed (of course it is guided by a church group), but came back another day. that is the real deal for Greek eating. everything was made by cratzern and tasty! at a place like alaska it can be difficult to find authentic ethnic food so that this small, away from the beaten away caffe was a delightful discovery. the decor is pleasant, accented with paintings (for sale) by local artists and wall painting. we were particularly pleased that the kitchen is open and full to see from a part of the dining area and the counter, so that they can observe preparation and cleanliness. the server were all teenage girls, friendly and efficient, but...
