Seasoning overpowering and inedible. Cocktails pronounced of heavy thick sugar syrup. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Luckily found dinner elsewhere. Would not return to Square Barrel."

Reservations were available so we made them for a high top. Got to the restaurant exactly at out reserved time and they acted surprised that we were there then offered us a seat at the end of another table in the corner. Won’t head back to this place.

Definitely a hidden gem downtown, so happy to have stumbled upon it. Very flavorful food, not your typical greasy bar food. The burger and fish sandwich was super tasty, lots of different flavors. Bar service was great, bartenders were friendly, attentive and prompt. Will be back real soon.
