"We'd been to Mama Bird in Slabtown quite a few times considering it literally almost shares a wall with our apartment at The Carson we're so close lol and seriously loved the food there. We then learned that the owner, Gabriel, actually owned this joint too, so we wanted to check it out. Then I read an article in the Thrillest that mentioned this spot which reminded us and confirmed that we HAD to go check it out. The time came and we made it 20 min before closing. We ordered the Turkey Reuben. The menu isn't that big, but for us that's a good thing b/c we only had 20minutes until they closed and we are the worst when it comes to an oversized menu. So short and to the point is great for us....

Great food. Wish the dine on option offered wrapped sandwiches as they get quite messy. Having them wrapped works be spectacular.

The shrimp roll was killer, the cocktails are always fantastic. I love how the menu is always changing with new and exciting sandwiches. My favorite sandwich shop in Portland by far! I follow them on Instgram to keep up with their specials.

so eat well. I have enjoyed everything I had from stacked, but my favorites are the smoked truthahnheld (drool) and the mac and cheese. it's a little expensive. the personal is always brilliant and happy to answer and give suggestions. I also love that they don't ask you to get your own table.
