"This was quite possibly the worst dining experience ever. I should have known to run, but being NYE we didn’t have many other options. I had made an 8:30pm reservation over a month ago then when we checked in I was told it’s now a prix fixe menu and the regular ala carte menu would not be available. I questioned why I wasn’t made aware of this and was told it was emailed to me. I checked my emails and didn’t see it so perhaps it went to spam, but don’t you think jumping to a $235.00 per person menu is worthy of a phone call?! We were told the 8:30 reservation was all that was available. Upon arrival the restaurant was pretty empty expecting a big crowd?? Maybe 5 tables occupied.

frankly, we were disappointed by our meal. the facts of our life were good, but the French pommes were lukewarm. my pasta bolognese was good. the salmon of my man was boiled, and when we sent him back, he was not cooked enough. in a hotel restaurant should contain the menu side parts, not only a la carte side that only runs the bill overall. our server was lovely

Our waiter was good, responsive and attentive. The bus staff is clearly over worked. Dishes sat, silverware was hard to get. But everyone was pleasant. The food all came out at once so we ate our salads last. Artichoke dip was bad per those who tried it so we ate the chips. Steak. Shrimp cocktail. Crab cakes. All good. Overall it was pleasant and reasonable cost for Aspen. I good mid week meal choice.
