"A ram in the bush! Truly amazing find in Hawaii . The owner is really kind and friendly and makes you feel welcome. Food was amazing and reminded me of that good ol' southern comfort food and fish fry Fridays. I had the catfish plate $19+tax) and boy let me tell you! That food practically flew off the plate! And it is well worth the price! Generous portion size for the sides red beans and rice and collard greens), about 2.5 hearty pieces of catfish cut into sections, and a personal mini cornbread loaf. The fish was fresh, juicy, and nice and tender and the seasoning was good too. The collard greens were probably my favorite as they are seasoned with a little kick, chopped for easy consumption, and contain no meat. Just like my mom makes them) The fatback is not needed, you won't miss it! The restaurant gave me barbershop vibes in a good way) and the jazz contemporary gospel music playing in the background was a great touch! I thoroughly enjoyed myself and will be back again"

"Sorry this is a late review but so busy, I thought I'd actually skip reviewing this horrible place but I guess this horrible place made such a traumatic impression, I had no choice but to review it mostly cuz hubby had mentioned to me he didn't want to try a new Thai place after his last experience.....and this was weeks later. First off, they were friendly and sat us right away. We got our appetizers fast which was great but they forgot that they had a large party so asked us to move.....we moved our appetizers to a side table they brought our food soon after rice and curry. We also order pad Thai but totally forgot about it, we finished are curry and rice which was okay for us, we paid and told them to never mind the pad Thai because we got tired of waiting. They got wrapped up with the larger party I guess. Never going there again."

"Someone recommended we go to the bowling alley for food and I was skeptical at first. We got there not long after they had opened and there was already a wait for a table! Only 10 -15 mins and we were seated and served immediately. We both got a mixed plate to try a variety of things and while I think the food was good, it did come out barely warm. The star of the show was the lemon crunch cake. Don't skip on desserts here! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"This place is by far some of the best sushi my wife and I had on the island. It is a very small restaurant with about 5 or 6 tables to sit inside. The staff is very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They have a wide selection of fresh sushi and amazing soup, which is free by the way. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good occasion or even a family meal. Prices are very reasonable!!"
