"My husband and I booked a single night away for my birthday. I wish we booked a longer stay! We checked in early with Chris who then showed us around the property. It was wonderful to hear all about the property and the history. Chris then showed us to our cottage- the dream cottage! A dream is definitely the way to describe this wonderful cottage. As you go up the stairs you enter a beautiful covered porch with plenty of seating and a front porch swing. French doors open to the main room with the king bed, coffee area with espresso machine, couch and tv, a small table and an assortment of games and books. We had the absolute pleasure of staying in the dream cottage. The cottage was beautiful, Better than I could have dreamed. The staff was amazing. Best anniversary, birthday yet.

My wife and I stayed for two great nights in the Lafayette Suite. The staff is ultra accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Not only was the historic inn cozy, it was immaculate. Looking out our window to see the sunrise and set over the mountains was an experience we will cherish forever. Highly recommend and will be back as soon as the summer heat arrives!

we had a great weekend trip in the sugar hill inn in nickerson suite. we immediately felt welcome and within less hours there were no strangers anymore. kierstin, chris and craig surprised us with their hospitality and friendliness. they were always helping us with our stay or with fantastic local day trips. it was really nice to meet michael and hope, they are one of the nicest people we know. they looked after our desires and made our stay very comfortable. the breakfast was delicious and felt very like homemade eating. chef collin cooked amazing dinner. the salmon court was excellent, so much so that we ordered it twice in a single night and also made dinner reservations for the next nigh...

"Very nice neighborhood restaurant. The Hostesses Natalia and Rachelle are very welcoming and friendly towards customers. When you walk into the restaurant they are prepared to take your order for take out or seat you for dining in. "food and service was great! the hostess was super friendly. my order was initially wrong, but not big enough for me to ask for a do-over, and it is as if the kitchen read my understanding! they came with my correct order 5 minutes later that I took home in a to-go box. but then I left the togo box on the table and our waitress ran out to give me the box! overall it was amazing service and eating, I will be absolutely back."

"Table of 6 people, ordered some starters to share. Server drops food in the center of table. We were never given dishes. Steaks and Lamb chops were under cooked, and served without steak knives, had to track down our waitress to get knives. We loved this restaurant the last 4 times not last knight. I felt like i was in a steak house version of McDonalds. The food quality was also poor, i felt sick afterwards, from the food and the high priced event. I will not be back!!!"

"So much to love about this place: open all day after 11am, 7 days a week. Hi quality food and drink, great servers, one of my favorite spots to dine. Last nite Jennie was our server, and she was exceptional, a real pro! The food was as good as always, with a few deviations of note: the bread, while good, not quite as good as in the past, same goes for the dipping sauce, just a little different, a little less good. Would be nice if the menu would change up a bit, a few more and different offerings. The starters we had were delish: calamari superb! crab cakes (tiny) but very good. My only beef (no pun intended) was the $21.00 glass of red wine that I ordered blind. Truthfully, I didn't think it was that exceptional. But overall, still my happy place."
