"Sushiya in Del Mar Highlands is a great spot to enjoy some Japanese cuisine. It's conveniently located near my home, so I frequent it for dinner occasionally. The prices are fair, and they offer half off deals on certain rolls and hand rolls. The food is decent, although some of the rolls were a bit messy and not perfectly crafted... but they were still tasty. While Sushiya isn't very large, it does have a sushi bar and a few outdoor tables. It can get busy, so seating may be limited. The decor is simple, nothing extravagant. The staff and service were pleasant, and the food was served promptly. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for Japanese cuisine!"

The sushi at this restaurant is consistently fresh and delicious. It is definitely the best sushi in Delmar. I highly recommend trying the Baked Salmon - I have had it several times and absolutely love it.

This is my favorite place to eat. My favorite is the Alaskan roll. They just started making a baked salmon roll that is mouth watering. They have the best spicy tuna roll, I usually order two of those. The salmon nigiri is always a knock-out. This place is great!

I would rate this restaurant 3.5 stars. I recently tried the spicy tuna roll and found it to be quite tasty. The service was excellent as well. However, despite having a variety of rolls available at half price, the overall cost ends up being similar to other sushi restaurants, so the discount doesn't really make it a great deal.
