"Going to Ta Chen was one of the most authentic and welcoming restaurants I've ever visited. We ordered us on Christmas Eve. When I arrived, my food was not ready, so the owner (David) gave me soup, water and a cookie while I was waiting. He talked to me about being in business for 37 years and how Garden Grove was wonderful. Both customers before and after I knew David. And by the way, the food was good! What a find."

Highly recommend, support small businesses! The customer service is amazing! Owners are so kind and go above and beyond, they noticed we were here from out of town and gave us extra food. Food is delicious and great price!

They have reasonably priced great food and friendly service. We each had the szechwan dinner. It came with hot and sour soup, egg roll, fried shrimp, wrapped chicken, and rice. We tried the orange chicken on recommendation of a friend and the moo shu pork. I like how they put scrambled egg in the rice. Each entree was enough for two.

That was one of the best culinary experiences I ever had. Diving was closed, but they let us in anyway. Food was the best authentic Chinese I ever had. The service was beyond the comparison and in the end we felt like family. They even gave us extra food. They gave us water bottles for the street, because we wanted a love drive. The owners really want the best for their customers. I definitely come back.
