"we had a delicious meal with an excellent wine. we always had a good service in tempranillo, but this evening our server luke was excellent. he was attentive, but not intrusive and did everything he could to enjoy our evening. our visitor from Sweden was thrilled by what we consider the best restaurant in our opposite."

we had no service at all, we had a reservation and we waited to be seen at least 10 minutes by a waiter, never said hello and never offer anything! we're gone!

this restaurant is very good. romantic atmosphere with large open fireplace. the service was very slow this time as I think they are quite understated. that was on Monday morning before thanksgiving.

once again tempranillo was amazing! eating is always fantastic and cocktails are delicious. our waitress seemed to forget us a few times, although it was a slow night, but everything else was amazing.

"This is our second time in this restaurant and I must say it is really a great restaurant. We started with the sampler of sausages, which was interesting fantastic. I had the Breanzino for the main course that was amazing. My wife had the carving, and honestly it was better than the carvings we had in Germany. This restaurant deserves the 5 stars!"

"Excellent brewery with casual atmosphere. I’ve been coming here for years and have watched several full turnovers of staff and mixed reviews of quality of food and service. The current staff (circa 2022 to present) is amazing and have made this place my go to happy hour spot. The new brewer makes great beer and the staff is friendly, attentive and FAST. I never wait more than 10 min for food when I sit at the bar. I agree that in the past the service was spotty, but the new Management has done a killer job stepping up. Kudos to them and hope to keep enjoying this spot for years to come. PS the new menu is amazing highly recommend the bang bang shrimp."

"Kinda pissed. Ordered the Cowboy burger which is a bbq cheddar burger. Asked for bbq as the burger had almost none on it. Took most of my meal to get it. Get the bill and i was charged for it. Something i shoulda had in the first place. Yeah its a dollar, big deal but the fact the food came out wrong the first time, and it was a good burger slightly over cooked on half and perfect on the other, which was odd but otherwise once i put BBQ on it, it was great. Will not be back sadly."

"I absolutely loved Café Bernard growing up when it was still owned by Bernard and I still love it now. I was a little worried at first the new management would make changes, and they have, but I think it has all been for the better. The spirit and character of the restaurant have remained (even their no cell phone use policy). I would particularly recommend any of the baked goods and pastries. They are all spectacular. I also really enjoy the smoke trout hash and the steak and eggs. For those complaining about the speed of the service, I would like to remind them that this is a tiny family owned restaurant and often only has one waitress and one chef on staff. All food is made to order, so if a bunch of people walk in at once, it’s gonna take a minute. This is a small town Café not McDonald’s be patient and respectful. Part of the reason this place is good is because of the ambience, sit back and enjoy it."
