"Waitress was clueless about cocktails and beer and had to repeat what you ordered twice each time. They were out of a beer on tap that was on the regular menu. They were also out of Makers Mark and offered no substitute for their Spicy Ginger Maker drink. My wife’s lemon drop martini tasted watered down. Menu was lacking any pizzaz. Food was very ordinary. Nachos were decent and more sizable than expected. Tempura fish tacos were made with such small pieces and heavily breaded that I couldn’t have distinguished what they were, had I not ordered them myself. The stir fry just had a strange flavor. No real meals. Just felt like I sat around and ate a lot of appetizers. Cute place but not a place to go if you’re hungry.

This was a terrible experience. They proposed a completely different menu without notice on New Year’s Eve and it was terrible. Everything outside of our drinks was terrible. Not the normal expected experience from this restaurant

"It was so delicious as usual, and JB cooks the best food! Great service and atmosphere! I had the scrimp bisque excellent then the pork chop with Stilton grits and collard greens! My niece had tuna. We both loved the food as always! The pies de resistance was the dessert a brownie with Bailey's Irish cream mousse to die for!!! Can't go wrong eating at Beck's or Sheehan's."

"I look at the value more like, I am paying for good food with an experience. With that in mind, It is a wonderful experience. My waiter made me feel as if we were the only ones in the place and when my wife did not like her dish they (the waiter and manager) seemed to really care and want her feedback. You all are great. "Underwhelmed. Service was good, but food and presentation was adequate. Chef Special App was grilled pork belly which was very good. We both ordered the lamb to pair with a 2017 Mount Brave Cab Franc . I try to never add salt or pepper to a meal because as a former restaurant owner I find it disrespectful. I added salt and pepper to the lamb because frankly it was bland. The wine opened up and we enjoyed. And in the end we loved the Pecan Caramel Swirl cake. Wine list was a surprise. I will note we visited on a Monday."

"I decided to go back to give them another try and the food was good. The service was a lot better as well. I plan to go back again in the future and will try ordering from the app. I was also very pleased with how the owners responded to my comment. I did not take them up on their offer because I was not trying to look for a free meal. I would much rather that free meal be given to someone in need. Not sure how the food is but the service wasn't the best. After being asked if I had a to go order I told them that I was there to place a order togo, I waited at the bar/counter for 10-15 minutes and finally asked them when could I place my order and how long it would take for the food to be ready and was told by someone, who didn't seem to be having a good day, that it would be another 20 minutes. I only had a 30 minute lunch break and wasted half of it sitting there not being acknowledged. But I guess it was just poor planning on my end."
