"It was the best 12 dollar sandwich I have ever had. The boys in the back of the store (sandwich counter) are very polite and courteous. The selection of sandwiches are huge or build your own. My wife said her Rubin was the BEST she has ever had. That's saying alot , she is very finakey like a cat. I live in the east bay and I would come back to the city just for a sandwich. Thank you"

We ordered a Godfather and a Honey Baked sandwich, both on Dutch Crunch bread. Fantastic! Big, filling sandwiches with fresh sliced meat. Really nice guy preparing the food. My new go-to in SFO.

THE best sandwiches on Polk St. These dudes do deli sandwiches like they should be. Tons of meat, quality ingredients, no frill. They don't make my favorite sandwich anymore (because they hated the name on the old menu), but you're still guaranteed to get something great.
