"Amazing little place offering a great hometown, home-cooked meals. We were passing through and stopped here. The place looks like a warehouse business of a different type, but once inside it looks like a hometown café. The servers are friendly and helpful, the offerings were various and quite a few options, and the food was delicious and comforting. Would stop again, when we are in the area. Service: Dine in"

"Usually the food itself is good. I used to work at sonic and I know the people that own it so I didn’t wanna leave a bad review, but tonight the service was very upsetting. Had I been with my husband I would’ve checked the food and voiced my “complaints” to the employees working, but he brought it home. Food was cold/not fresh, ice cream was half full, Oreo chunks not blended and no fudge like ordered. I know staffing is an issue across the world right now and I empathize, but please do better. Very disappointing."

"H.O.L.Y. Cow! Amazing food.... I myself and my mother-in-law had the ribeye sandwich and O.M.G I never had a better one in my life than date.... My legal father has fatuccini Alfredo with chicken and loved it and they made my husband something he wanted, that was not on the menu.... Chicken marsala.... He said it was great. All in all three best experiences I had in every restaurant in Keokuk by far and to me the Parthenon n Ft.M"

"I took my family for lunch. We were quickly placed, our order made within 5-10 minutes and our drinks and appetizer received within 15 minutes. This was during the after-the church smash, which occurs most Sunday, so that quickly and efficiently was served a great opening! Our entrees and specialties were fresh and tasty! Cudos on the onion rings we had as an appetizer! The light, crispy dough was really spiced and was crunchy as we like it! Thanks to Kristina for keeping her orders together and ensuring the service we expect at the Hawkeye! Merry Christmas for all of you and we will see you soon!"

"We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The prices for the food were incredibly affordable. Even though we live two and a half hours away, we plan on returning to try their delicious pizza. The fried chicken sandwich also caught our eye. The service was excellent and we were impressed that you could arrive by boat on the Mississippi River and simply walk up to the restaurant. Overall, we had a great dining experience for lunch."
